Twin Cities Orthopedics has 30 clinics in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area, and 20 of those have in house radiology capability. Pacesetter Medical has been our vendor for equipment, training and support for a long time. We recently went through a detailed and extensive RFP and selection process for a PACS vendor and Pacesetter prevailed in that as well.

The Children's Heart Clinic

The Children’s Heart Clinic opened their new home at 2530 Chicago Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN in September 2009. From their beginning in 1973 the mission has been to provide all-inclusive services, and that includes on-site x-ray. To plan for this critical piece they did their homework, and after researching the Twin Cities industry leaders and a rigorous RFP process chose Pacesetter Medical Imaging (PMI) to make it happen for them.

“After talking with current clients of the finalists, PMI emerged with the best reputation in town for response, down time, all aspects of service and communication,” says Denise Zang, Children’s experienced administrator. “The customer service aspect was examined closely by our administrative people, while the technological component was key to the medical staff. We found both with Pacesetter. Not only that, but they really understand the challenges of running a private practice and were a big help in the ‘cost containment’ piece of our puzzle.”
And what’s next for Children’s Heart Clinic? According to Ms. Zang, ”We’re planning to add EMR [Electronic Medical Records] as our next project, and PMI will certainly be involved in that. They’ve been ‘fantastic’ ... unbelievably responsive, and they meet every deadline without fail. Pacesetter did a great job for us.”
